The Divisions
The Charge of the Office
The Office holds its mandate from the Sovereign State of Accompong, whose continuous existence derives from the 1738 Treaty of Peace and Friendship. Its institutional right to maintain its own offices is recognized under ILO Convention 169, the binding international treaty on the rights of indigenous and tribal peoples.
MOSS was founded in 1923. It serves the State as a continuous entity, in continuity of government.
MOSS is an intelligence service. It gathers and manages information in the service of the State of Accompong. MOSS does not conduct law enforcement, does not make arrests, and does not operate outside the authority of the State.
What MOSS Does
Four pillars established under the authority of the 1738 Treaty.

Maroon Network

Sovereign Standing
MOSS operates under the authority of the Sovereign State of Accompong, heirs to the 1738 Treaty of Peace and Friendship with the British Crown.

Service to the State
MOSS serves the Sovereign State of Accompong as a continuous entity. The office does not answer to any individual administration or officeholder, but to the State itself.

Records & Verification
MOSS manages the records of the State — its treaty, its documents, its transactions — and verifies the integrity of the information entrusted to it.

Standing Guard
MOSS stands guard over the treaty, the offices, and the standing of the State of Accompong. For the Born and the Unborn.
The Threat Picture

💰 Financial Schemes
Fraudulent currencies, bonds, and investment products falsely attached to the name of the Maroons or the Sovereign State of Accompong. The Office monitors financial instruments that trade on Maroon identity without lawful standing.

🌳 Threats to Cockpit Country
Commercial, industrial, and environmental threats to the territorial integrity of the State. The Office follows developments bearing on the land, its people, and the Maroon homeland granted under the 1738 Treaty.

📜 Treaty Misrepresentation
False or unauthorized claims about the 1738 Treaty — its terms, its beneficiaries, and the standing it confers. The Office watches for fraudulent citizenship schemes, forged treaty documents, and parties presenting themselves as heirs to the Treaty without lawful basis.
🌐 External and Cyber Threats
Foreign actors, online impersonation, and info operations targeting the SoA. Monitors unauthorized engagement with State offices, forged digital documents, and disinformation targeting the State or its citizens.

Report to the Office
Have you encountered a fraudulent instrument, a forged document, an unauthorized claim of Maroon identity, or any matter bearing on the standing of the State? The Office receives and reviews such reports. Information shared with MOSS is held in confidence.
